Road To THE IFC

Now that I found a name, I have to do something with it.

First, I want to organize my own tournaments. The only thing I know from this parralel world is that there are tournaments. And teams that are ready to play.

To make my tournament, I have to reach teams. Social medias will help my for that. So I made a post on the Facebook group of my school football club.

Hey the Christophe Dugarrys,

Are there any FIFA Club Pro players here that want to participate in a tournament during these times of lockdown?

122 people saw the post, only one guy responded and said maybe.

My first try was a fail. So I tried somewhere else. Instagram. There, I can easily find Club Pro accounts and their followers. So I created the IFC Instagram account. In my first post, I defined the IFC rules.

This is not really readable but to sum up, I am explaining how to register to a tournament, I give general rules (general communication, game rules), what to do after each game (communicate scores with a justification), and most of all, what the IFC is commited to do:

  • Make sure that the tournament is well organized and well executed.
  • Give accurate game calendars before the tournament to make it easy for teams to organize.
  • Keep captains informed of different steps of the tournament.
  • Communicate about ongoing tournaments

These 4 points is the most important part. I want something solid. I want teams to be aware that the IFC tournaments will be very well-structured.

Now that I have my rules, I will do something classic on Instagram. Follow every people that follow online football accounts, in order to get follow-backs.
