[30] After one month
2020, May 11th
It’s been on month since the beggining of the IFC.
I feel grateful and lucky. I think that sometimes you just have to stop thinking and do stuff, even if it seems absurd. Because being a referee for online football tournaments, for people I don’t know, playing games I can’t watch seems pretty absurd to me. But this month, I spent half of my evenings doing that. And to be honest, I don’t really know why. It is a kind of laboratory for us, and at the same time, it allows people to spend great nights with their friends during lockdown.
But I would not have lasted long without A*. It’s like I was trying to start a fire with two rocks. It is possible to get a sparke, but it hard. Then A* arrived with a flamethrower. It’s been only one month, but we realize everything that we can do, just by observing how people interact.
I am also lucky that my brother made a team with his friends, registered in a tournament that I watched, and also registered in a tournament that has been cancelled.
So yeah, it is nice to celebrate.
One month ago I was struggling to find 4 teams for a mini tournament. Today I make 2 full tournaments, 16 teams each, and for the first time, one was already full the day before. I am proud, it feels great.
So what’s next ?
A* has a lot of great ideas.
- In the V2 I plan to make team pages. To see how many tournaments a team has made, how many games… And I also plan to add a captain/player system so everybody can login
- Ok great
We keep observing interesting stuff.
URGENT !! We are looking for a defensive midfielder for a competition quarter-finals, in 3–5–2, that can make defensive efforts
A* also talked about a next huge challenge: making an app.
- So I checked and I think that maybe we can make an app. If you are interested.
- Yeah an app is clearly a goal.
