[4] One demo per day
2020, March 29th
I have been making music in my room for 10 full days now.
It’s lockdown, so I don’t have many other things to do.
I made a few songs, and there are one or two I really like. Some of them have a Fontaines DC vibe, others are closer to Radiohead.
I love the process. Try, fail, try again, find a good vibe, get deeper into it. Most of the time I have no idea where I am going with this guitar riff or that drum beat. I can work hours on something and delete everything, or not. Maybe I deleted what could have become the next Bohemian Rhapsody?
I realize I also need outside world interactions to grow in the process of making music.
I gave myself the challenge of 1 demo per day. I made 6 or 7 in 10 days, its already huge for me.
I guess I need a small break.
Maybe I can start a new series, or a new book.
