[62] A* is back
2020, August 4th
The IFC is 4 months old now.
A lot of things have been made since day 1.
We organized tournaments, launched a website, we got our first users, our first feedbacks, our first bugs. We got our first external organizers on the app, we improved step by step the product. A* learnt to code an app, and we launched an app a few weeks later. We made our first mistakes, and learnt lessons from them.
All of this from different continents and a 6 hours time difference.
It was challenging, and interesting. We managed to split tasks well.
He codes, and I grow the community.
We went fast thanks to lockdown. We had time, the most expensive ressource. And at the moment, A* did not have a job. Which won’t last since he is joining a huge company in September as a Software Engineer in New York.
I’m curious to see how we will manage this. I think learning to code is a great thing for me to do. For 2 reasons.
- To understand what he does
- To be able to do it when he will have less time
Before that, we have 3 weeks together here in our city in the suburd of Paris. We will work hard to anticipate his return to New York and his new working life. But not only, it’s good to have a childhood friend back.
Are you in for a football game Saturday at the Castle ?
